About Raahat

Wellness spaces, gatherings and guided journeys

Raahat means relief — the exhale you feel when you finally put something down. It began as one quiet property in Ocean Shores and grew into a small wellness brand with three strands: local gatherings, space for practitioners' work, and guidance for people travelling to Rishikesh to study yoga.

Raahat Wellness House sits at 13 Goondooloo Drive, Ocean Shores NSW 2483 — a five-minute walk from Ocean Shores Shopping Centre and a short drive from Brunswick Heads, Mullumbimby and Byron Bay. It is not an accommodation venue or overnight retreat; it is a working home for calm, low-noise wellness work in a residential street.

Our founder

Raj Gurmukhani

Raj is the founder of Raahat. His vision is simple: to provide a safe, elegant space where wellness practitioners can do their best work, and where the local community can gather without noise, hurry or pretence.

That means keeping things small and hand-picked — a handful of practitioners on regular weekly holds rather than a rotating flow of casual bookings, and gatherings capped at eight so everyone in the circle is actually seen.

Through Raahat Rishikesh Journeys, Raj also offers independent, on-the-ground guidance for people heading to Rishikesh for yoga training — the practical, honest advice he wishes every first-time traveller had.
